Reimagining Recruitment

OVERVIEW

Zynga is a global leader in social video game services with the mission to connect the world through games. At Zynga, I collaborated with the People Operations team and University Relations team that both work to recruit individuals from all backgrounds and create an environment that centres around growth, belonging and fun.

During my internship, I transformed the talent and employment brand across the organization and its subsidiaries through the redesign of an internal recruitment wiki for the HR team, and the creation of Glassdoor and LinkedIn ads, promotional videos, social media graphics, swag designs, presentation decks, and, most proudly, new logos that will be used to showcase Life at Zynga and promote Zynga's brand.

Internship Showcase
Every intern at Zynga was encouraged to create a video summarizing their experiences during the internship. Using Final Cut Pro X, I created this video to highlight my experiences, achievements, and overall impact during my time at Zynga.

University Relations

Logo Design
The University Relations (UR) team had an exciting vision to create a logo that embodied their identify distinctly from the Zynga logo. The team wanted a logo that would resonate with students and draw them into their university outreach and co-op programs.

Logo Concepts

Inspired by the college varsity mascots, I started by sketching  'Zinga,' Zynga founder Mark Pincus' beloved American Bulldog, in a fun and playful cartoon style to capture a sense of youthfulness, excitement, and connection.

Additionally, I drew inspiration from the notion of rebranding Zynga's UR team as "Zynga University," to give the team a more fresh and impactful feel. The aim of this design strategy was to make our outreach efforts more engaging and and build stronger connections with our target audience of university students.

PowerPoint Slides

Slide Deck Designs
Throughout my internship, I had the opportunity to design slide decks used for both external meetings with the public and internal presentations, where I focused on enhancing visual appeal and improving the overall flow of information.

By incorporating fresh design elements and clear visual hierarchy, I aimed to make the presentations more impactful and accessible to diverse audiences.

INTERNAL AND EXTERNAL

Graphic Designs
During my internship, I had the chance to work on a variety of graphic design projects that served both internal and external needs. I created everything from LinkedIn posts to eye-catching ads for Glassdoor and LinkedIn, as well as visuals for internal events. Each project was meaningful, helping to enhance Zynga's brand presence and foster social engagement. It was rewarding to see how my designs could contribute to the the team's goals of improving brand image and connecting with different audiences.
