Timeline
March 2021 2018 – Present
Within the Women's Impact Network at Deloitte, I am an Events Lead where I strive to build a greater sense of community for women practitioners that can grow and support each other at the firm. To date, we have hosted 5+ internal events which has improved by 400% compared to last year. Notably, I hosted 2 speed networking sessions for the Holidays and Valentine's Day!

I co-lead Design Show & Tea which is a program that was founded to build collaboration and community within our internal design team through project showcases, feedback sessions, and other design-focused workshops.

I served as an onboarding "buddy" for 3 new hires and a mentor to a co-op on one of my client engagements. I ensured their growth goals were met through regularly scheduling check-ins and providing continuous feedback and advice.

I volunteer in Omnia Talent Centre of Excellence (CoE), which is our internal network that provides support to all Omnia practitioners through events, lunch and learns, resources, and socials. I help in hosting floor pop-ups within the Toronto office to encourage people to take a break from their work and potentially meet new individuals on the wider team.

I have supported various events across the firm in different capacities. Most recently, I ran a lunch and learn to teach other practitioners within the firm about dashboard design. I also presented at a virtual onboarding events of 100+ new hires to showcase my past project work and share my reflections and experiences.
